At RT Litho, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that RT Litho is not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that sort of thing.
When someone visits www.rtlitho.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

As a trade printer, more often than not we do a LOT of work for very high profile global brands through a number of Print intermediaries – such as Print Brokers, Print Management Companies & Marketing / PR Agencies. Whilst this is the bread and butter, and often the life blood of our business – we can’t publicly promote any of the work that we do for them – which for us is a bit of a shame, but thats the name of the game!
For a long time now, we know that one of our very trusted business associates Jim Jordan who we know (like & trust!) through our BNI network has been working with the young dynamic company Liquiproof as their business coach, and for a while now Jim has tried to introduce us to the company with a view to working on their print packaging needs.
For those who don’t know, Liquiproof had huge success when founder Caner Veli took himself into the Den, and delivered a top presentation to the infamous Dragons and then secured investment from Touker Suleyman.
I’m a big believer in making things happen in business, but sometimes you really do have to rely on “timing” to help things along, and in the case of the business relationship between RT Litho & Liquiproof that was never more the case.
I was scheduled to do my Feature Presentation at my home BNI chapter – which for a print company can encompass covering so many things – so in the weeks leading up to this, I was looking around for some inspiration – this would have now been about my 5th or 6th time I’d presented to my group and I didn’t want to scare the group with the old “Christmas” ideas in July. But I kind of thought it would be a good idea to talk about our facility in house to work on packaging and other associated items.
As luck would have it, I then found out that Jim was bringing Caner along that day to visit our group = PERFECT TIMING I thought. I know how good we are at what we do here, so an opportunity to present in front of someone who would be an ideal direct client for us!
Jim happened to call me the day before, requesting that I please bring some packaging examples and talk about that, as Liquiproof’s current supplier had just gone into administration and their entire production line was suffering hugely as a result.
For me this was a great opportunity, as I’m sure anyone with the same capability would think.
Long story short, We had a very great meeting that day with Liquiproof in our production facility, and was then asked to start work on recreating their outer packaging – We needed to shorten lead times and be as cost effective as we could.
We managed to deliver 2000 boxes to them in 2 weeks (knocking a considerable amount of time off their previous production time) and we are building a great rapport with the team down there to handle as much of their printing & packaging as possible. In that short space of time, we revamped business cards and created some really great thick triplex cards coming in at about 900gsm, large format poster work, and then most recently some die cut droplet shaped beer mats for their Pantiles Pop Up concept. We have so much more in the pipeline we are working on with them.
It’s a very exciting time for us to be working with a company that is already SO hugely successful and will continue to grow as time goes on. We are happy to be a part of their journey and place a real value on what we are doing that counts towards it.
And a thanks to Jim, who’d of thought bringing a one time visitor to the group, could open up such a huge opportunity for us. You absolutely can’t beat word of mouth referrals, and this pretty much proves it.
If you haven’t seen the Dragon’s Den pitch – take a look below!
I look forward to showing you more of our work with Liquiproof as time goes on!

It’s not often as the Managing Director, I get the time to write posts on our website, or have days out of the office! However, I just want to extend my thanks to one of our suppliers, Xeretec for a fantastic day out at Twickenham on Saturday 27th Feb.
As an avid West Ham fan my whole life, I’ve been at many football matches of all kinds, but this weekend just gone was a first for me. I’d never been to see a professional Rugby match. So it was great to be able to go to the Six Nations match between England & Ireland.
I’d like to personally extend my thanks to both Paul Butler & Jason Bryant for such a well organised, enthusiastic & fun day out.
Great atmosphere, and really great to spend some time away from the daily pressures of the Print!
Firstly, we would like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
We hope that you had a lovely Christmas & New Year with all your loved ones. So we all finally got back from a well earned rest over the festive period, and we have another new member of staff with us!
Steve Leggitt joins us from another print company in Essex and has joined the team as our new Estimator. Steve has a vast wealth of experience in the printing industry and will work side by side with Rob, and also support Clair & Andrew in the sales office.
Times are very much changing for RT Litho going forwards and we are building a strong team, who are not only responsive to our clients needs, but producing a consistently high quality of work – we we are well known for throughout the trade industry.
We would like to wish all of our clients both old and new a very prosperous 2015 and look forward to working with you soon!
‘Tis the season to be jolly right?
We would like to wish all of our clients and friends a very happy and prosperous Christmas season for 2014.
Its been a very busy year full of change for us here at RT Litho, and would like to thank everyone for their patience during our big move from Romford to Laindon this year.
Throughout the Christmas period we will be closing on the 24th and returning (with skeletal staff) on Friday 2nd January 2015. With a full team back on Monday January 5th 2015 – except for Rob, he will be sunning himself in Orlando until the 16th January! (We’ve granted him one holiday for 2015, as, being the boss who works harder than anyone, he’s more than earned a trip to the sunshine state!!!)
If there are ANY urgent enquiries during that time, please ensure you email email@example.com
So … All thats left to do is – Eat, Drink & Be Merry!
After 23 years of being based on the old A12 near Chadwell Heath in Romford, and since we first started in business back in 1991, we finally moved to a different part of Essex back in May 2014.
During the time that RT Litho has been in business we have worked hard on a reputation that Rob had built up within the trade, and we almost rested on our laurels when it came to our web presence. With the move that we have done from Romford to Laindon, we decided that we got our act together and relaunched our website, with a heavy focus on what we can do for the print trade.
Our new premises is a much better set up and has accommodated lots of new opportunities, including a new machine which we got in April 2014 – a Heidelberg CD74 5 colour perfector. A new addition to our B2 printing machines and really put us in a different league with our existing clients and also is an attractive piece of equipment for new clients also.
This is just a quick introductory post to let you know that RT Litho *finally* are starting to feel settled in our new home, and we will be working really hard on our website to really showcase and bring you the best of our company online.
With new beginnings comes a lot of new changes, and here at RT Litho we have employed a new member of staff in our Print production team who will be working alongside Mark, Terry & Paul.
Julian is our new print minder for the new Heidelberg Speedmaster CD74 5 colour P3 Perfector press. He has a vast wealth of print experience right across the board and has experience with all kinds of presses of all sizes, and is experienced in the print process right through to the finishing side of things.
So, we have a lot more capacity to print more quality work and get involved in more projects for our clients and we officially want to welcome Julian to the team!
